Meka Roshan, Anaswara Rajan starrer Champion, has impressed audiences creating good buzz for the film with glimpse and teaser. The first single, Gira Gira has become a big hit and makers have now announced a shocking update. Nandamuri Kalyan Chakravarthy is making his long awaited comeback to cinemas with it.

After charming audiences in the 80s, he took a 35-year hiatus. The producers have pursued him since Yevade Subrahmanyam, but it was the depth and realism of the character Raji Reddy in Champion that convinced him to end his long break. His presence is anticipated to add significant gravitas and dimension to the film’s narrative.

His first look increases curiosity surrounding his role and the actor looks like sculpted model in the look. This huge update is certain to increase the curiosity among Telugu audiences. The makers are planning to continue the momentum created by Gira Gira with such interesting updates till the release.

The makers have painstakingly recreated the pre-Independence era for Champion and director Pradeep Advaitham proved his mettle in the glimpse and teaser already. The script is said to be highly creative and realistic. Priyanka Dutt is producing the film and it is slated for a grand theatrical release on December 25th.
