It’s Official: Nandi Awards Happening Finally!

The government of Andhra Pradesh had been very prestigious holding the iconic Nandi awards earlier. This was a significant contribution and recognition of the film industry that was carried out by the earlier governments.

However, this prestigious program had been halted out of operation by the recent Governments as it has been many years since the Nandi awards ceremony was held in Andhra Pradesh.

But finally, the NDA government Andhra Pradesh has found the time and occasion to hold the Nandi awards and the official notification regarding the same has been released.

The prestigious Nandi Awards for 2012–2016 will be presented in Vijayawada city this November 2026. On the other hand, Awards for 2017–2024 and 2025 will be announced in November, with presentation ceremonies planned for December this year.

Film award events will be held in Amaravati or Vijayawada based on the feasibility, while TV awards for 2017–2025 are proposed in Tirupati. In total, the awards cover a 14-year period from 2012 to 2025.

This is going to be a pretty significant and positive piece of information to the entire Telugu film industry as the prestigious Nandi awards are finally returning after many years.

The government of Andhra Pradesh is notifying about the same, and it should be a matter of time before the selection process begins, and the subsequent ceremony is held.
