Produced by DVV Danayya, the movie is arriving on 29th August in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Natural Star Nani is promoting the film quite aggressively and shared a lot of things with the media in a recent press meet.

You put the same effort in promotions as the shooting of the actual movie. You have been promoting the film for the past 30 days. Isn’t it?

I understood its importance. I did not have that thought before. I felt that good content will drive the film. While it is true, it is after the release, taking the movie towards the audience before the release and getting positivity around the project is necessary. People who follow films regularly will automatically know about this film. But people who don’t follow regularly and are busy with their work needs informational and aggressive promotions are a way for that. Triggering the interest of the audience to watch the film is very important.

What is the point that excited you the most in ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’?

What we have shown in the trailer has excited me the most. You have to watch the movie is enjoy the whole narrative. We told the idea in the trailer and we will show our execution in the movie.

What is the most challenging part of ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’?

There is nothing challenging. It is quite refreshing. In most of my films, I carry a certain weight. This time it is on SJ Suryah and Vivek Atreya. I took a back seat this time. The responsibility is mostly on SJ Suryah, Priyanka, Murali Sharma and others.

How was it working with SJ Suryah sir?

I enjoyed working with SJ Suryah sir a lot. He has a lot of understanding and we can see a new perspective from his performance. There is no other choice better than SJ Suryah for this role. He dubbed for around a week and it came wonderfully. You will watch the film two more times for his dubbing.

Tell us about the high points of ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’.

This film has a very good story that has scope for many adrenaline pumping moments. We took it to 100% in terms of those moments in the story. It will feel very organic and the audience will definitely enjoy it in the theatres.

Tell us about Jakes Bejoy’s music.

This is a racy film. The narrative is equally race and the movie literally runs. I had a curiosity on how he composes for such a fast-paced film. I saw the RR yesterday. Usually, heroes have entry songs followed by melodies and emotional songs. Many composers use the beats in those songs as RR. But Jakes created magic as the whole movie feels like an intro song.

What was the confidence that you gave Vivek after ‘Ante Sundaraniki’?

‘Ante Sundaraniki’ is a favourite film for many. It is one of the all time favourites for those who love that genre. But the movie’s runtime and a few moments in the screenplay during the time of its release affected the movie’s result. He used to have doubts regarding his work at that time. It is quite common for someone who takes the entire responsibility. I stood by his side like a brother reminding him of his capacity at that time. He is a terrific director.

The runtime and screenplay of this film is perfect. The idea we have, the setup and pay off are on the next level. We did what we planned to do.

DVV Danayya said that you made sure that there are no troubles in shooting?

I do this for every of my film. I become the assistant director to my director. I wish for the happiness of my producers. It is success for me if everyone related to the movie are happy after the release.

What is the reason behind picking ‘Saturday’ as the title for the movie?

It has a superb emotional reason. It is my favourite and you will get to know in the first 5 minutes of the movie.

Is Sokulapalem village a key element in this film?

The Sokulapalem village is an entity in the movie. It is an underlying emotion. It is the story that happens between Surya, Daya and Charulatha. The village is the emotion to that story.

Do you have plans of taking it forward like a franchise?

There is a possibility and it all depends on the blockbuster result of the film.

Did you find the action part challenging?

There is 20% action and 80% of the movie runs in an action mood. The action mood of the film will be enjoyed by the audience a lot.

Tell us about the screenplay of this film.

The screenplay and narrative of ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ will be highly exciting.

This is your next pan-Indian film after ‘Dasara’. How is the response of the audience in other states.

I did not expect such love from the audience. It is quite surprising to see such a great response from the public in other states. The love and appreciation is increasing with each film. It is becoming more of a responsibility now.

What is the most memorable moment in this journey?

My son’s birthday is the most memorable one in my personal life. Coming to movies, it constantly changes. I found it so satisfying when I watched ‘Dasara’ in Sudarshan theatre. This movie is going to bring me another resh memory.

All the Best.

Thank you
