Buzz: 'Hi Nanna' Combo Is Cancelled

While doing mass and gritty films on one side, hero Nani has surprised the audience after the “Dasara” movie by coming up with a love story like “Hi Nanna”. Though the newcomer director of film Shouryuv was rumoured to have narrated a film to Jr NTR later, it was maintained that he’s teaming up with Nani again. And that’s happening over the last two years.

An insider buzz now confirms that due to his existing commitments and the way he planned actioners in a series, Nani is unable to take up this movie now. While he’s working on “The Paradise” at the moment, Nani will later move to Sujeeth’s “Bloody Romeo”. With such big films lined up, he’s said to have advised Shouryuv to take up other heroes for the story, rather than waiting for him for another 2-3 years.

Now that Nani and his Hi Nanna director are not uniting forces, we have to see which hero will take up Shouryuv’s project. A surprising thing in Tollywood is that many filmmakers who made their debut film a big hit are taking years to come up with their second movie. Even Shouryuv has joined that list of directors now.

That said, films always take time to materialise in the present day, unlike in the olden days, when directors like Puri Jagan used to come up with 2-3 films easily in a span of 1-2 years. With growing budgets and varying tastes of the audience, this delay is bound to happen creatively too.
