Why Srikanth Odela Said Sorry to Nani After Dasara?

Nani is currently busy promoting his upcoming film The Paradise. During the promotions, the actor spoke about how the film came together with director Srikanth Odela. He also recalled an interesting moment that happened after the success of their previous film Dasara.

Nani said that after Dasara became a blockbuster, Srikanth Odela approached him about their next project. However, the director surprised him by saying sorry and revealing that he could not make the story he had originally planned.

Nani said he was confused by Srikanth's words. He wondered why the director was apologising after delivering a successful film. Later, he understood that Srikanth wanted to create something much more powerful and intense for their next collaboration.

According to Nani, the director told him that he would come back with a different story. Nani gave him around three months to prepare the new script. However, Srikanth did not return within that time. Nani revealed that the director took nearly six or seven months before finally coming back with the story of The Paradise.

When Srikanth narrated the new script, Nani was impressed by the idea. He found the story very different from what he had expected. The actor immediately agreed to be part of the project, and the two decided to work together again.

The Paradise is set against the backdrop of a tribal community that has been denied basic rights for generations. The story follows their struggle for justice and their fight against an oppressive system. A new leader emerges and attempts to challenge the existing order. The film therefore combines action with social themes.

Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead, while Mohan Babu, Raghav Juyal and Sampoornesh Babu are also part of the cast. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music.

The Paradise is scheduled for a multilingual release on September 24 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English and Spanish.
