The Story Is Set In Paradise, We Are Sawaris: Nani

With his director Srikanth Odela and other team busy with final stretch of post-production works, Natural Star Nani took the complete responsibility of promotions, and is taking part in the publicity events in different cities. After Hyderabad and Chennai, he addressed the media in Bangalore.

Nani emphasized that The Paradise goes beyond the conventional boundaries of an action drama, with its distinctive world, intense atmosphere and emotional depth setting it apart. “I know there might be many films in this genre, but there is no film like The Paradise for sure. The way Srikanth has made this film is extraordinary.”

The actor was equally appreciative of the ensemble cast, acknowledging the contribution of experienced performers. “Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulakarni, Raghav Juyal, Kayadu Lohar and the other actors are all fantastic performers, and I feel honoured to share screen space with them.”

He also offered a glimpse into the unusual world of the film. The story is set around Paradise, a locality in Hyderabad, and introduces a tribe called Sawaris. “There is a place called Paradise in Hyderabad, and the story is set around that place,” Nani revealed. “We are called Sawaris in the movie. Even the junior artists in the film have put in their best efforts.”

Nani further explained the strategy behind keeping the trailer relatively restrained. Rather than revealing the narrative flow and key moments, the team wanted audiences to discover the world organically in theatres. “Usually, when we release a trailer, we reveal some flow of the movie. With The Paradise, we wanted to hold that back because it will still be magical when you watch the film in cinemas.”

The actor also revealed an interesting detail about the Kannada version of his character’s dialogues. Deekshit, with whom Nani previously worked in Dasara, has lent his voice to the actor.
