Warangal Booking Trend Hints at a Huge Nani Opening

Nani’s latest film The Paradise has created a strong buzz among movie lovers in Warangal. The film, directed by Srikant Odela, arrived in theatres on September 24 and is getting strong attention from audiences across Telangana.

The booking trend in Warangal is especially interesting. According to the tracked booking data, out of 55 shows, 46 shows are fast filling while five shows have already reached houseful status. This means around 83.6 percent of the tracked shows are showing a fast-filling trend.

The response is not limited to Warangal city. Movie lovers from Hanamkonda and surrounding areas are also showing strong interest in watching Nani on the big screen. The booking numbers indicate that the film has attracted considerable attention in the region even before its regular theatrical run gathers pace.

The Paradise has also recorded strong advance bookings worldwide. According to the figures shared by trade sources, the film had crossed ₹60 crore in worldwide gross bookings by around noon. The strong advance numbers have created expectations for a big opening for Nani.

The film had already crossed the ₹40 crore worldwide gross mark through advance sales and paid premiere shows before regular morning screenings began, according to reported trade figures. This gave the movie a strong starting point even before the full Day 1 collections were counted.

Hyderabad has also emerged as one of the major contributors to the domestic advance bookings. Reported figures showed more than ₹7.40 crore in advance sales from Hyderabad. North American pre-sales were also reported to be strong, adding to the film’s international numbers.

The Paradise is Nani’s second collaboration with director Srikant Odela after their successful film Dasara. The new movie is an action drama and also features Raghav Juyal, Kayadu Lohar and Mohan Babu in important roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music.

The film has received an A certificate, which means only adult audiences can watch it in theatres. Despite this restriction, the movie has managed to attract strong advance bookings.

The makers have kept several details about the story under wraps and did not release a traditional trailer before the theatrical release. This helped create curiosity among fans.
