Rumor has it that the makers believed that the trailer would fall flat without showcasing Mrunal Thakur's lip-lock scenes. They wanted to emphasize the love story in the film, as they felt that promoting the father-daughter relationship alone wouldn't be enough to attract the audience.

On a lighter note, Nani jokingly mentioned that he often has a little "domestic dispute" with his wife when he does lip-lock scenes on screen. This time, he hasn't given his family a heads-up about the kisses and is uncertain about how his wife will react.
