Similarly, director Puri Jagannadh, who had his share of setbacks with films like "Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu," "Iddarammayilatho," and "Heart Attack," found success with this collaboration. Amidst the celebration, veteran actor R. Narayana Murthy shared insights on why he turned down a character offer in "Temper."

Narayana Murthy expressed his admiration for Puri Jagannadh's offer and Jr. NTR's request for him to play a role in "Temper." However, he respectfully declined the opportunity, citing his personal career trajectory. Having started as a junior artist and character actor before transitioning to a hero, Narayana Murthy felt it wasn't the right time to return to character roles. Despite his decision, he acknowledged the intention behind the offer and expressed gratitude for the opportunity.

"Temper," made with a budget of 35 crores, proved to be a box office success, grossing 74 crores.
