Natural Star Nani is enjoying a golden period in his career with back-to-back successes, both critically and commercially. His recent films took the spotlight at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2024 in Dubai, earning a total of nine awards between two of his standout movies, Dasara and Hi Nanna.

Nani's powerful performance in Dasara won him the prestigious Best Actor (Telugu) award. The film itself received four awards in total, including Best Actress for Keerthy Suresh, Best Director for Srikanth Odela, and Best Supporting Actor for Deekshit Shetty. These awards highlight the impact Dasara had both in terms of storytelling and performances.

On the other hand, Hi Nanna was a major winner on the first night of SIIMA, securing five awards. Mrunal Thakur was honored with the Best Actress (Critics) award for her performance, while Shouryuv won the Best Debutant Director award. Hesham Abdul Wahab took home the award for Best Music Director, and Baby Kiara won Best Supporting Actress. Additionally, Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala, the producer of Hi Nanna under Vyra Entertainments, was recognized as the Best Debutant Producer.

Both Dasara and Hi Nanna have already been celebrated at other award shows, such as Filmfare, marking Nani’s versatility. While Dasara showcased Nani in a gritty, action-packed role, Hi Nanna featured him in a more refined and classy performance. These contrasting roles have added to his acclaim, and both films have been major hits, bringing significant profits to their producers.

Currently, Nani’s latest release, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, is proving to be one of the biggest successes of his career. He is also working on an exciting project, HIT: The 3rd Case, which recently began filming, keeping his fans eagerly awaiting more stellar performances.
