Is Nani & Venu's Film Completely Shelved?

Natural Star Nani is currently working on 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' under Vivek Athreya's direction. The makers already mentioned that it will be hitting the screens on 29th August. DVV Danayya is producing this flick while Priyanka Arul Mohan is the heroine. The first song which came out recently got a very good response.

As we know, he announced a project with 'OG' director Sujeeth and sources say that a new producer will be bankrolling it as DVV Danayya backed out of it. Also, he officially revealed that details about his political action drama under the direction of Srikanth Odela who made 'Dasara' with Nani earlier. Nani will sport a new look in this film and there are high expectations on these films.

Also, the news of Nani teaming up with 'Balagam' fame Venu has been doing rounds for a long time. The comedian turned director has reportedly readied a script and that rural entertainer has been named 'Yellamma'. Despite Dil Raju being eager to produce it, the project is yet to be announced officially. Rumors suggest that Nani is not completely satisfied with the story and both the hero along with director have decided to shelve it.

They are open to working together when the right story arrives. Let us wait and see how things pan out in the coming days. Nani is gradually increasing his market and becoming the next star in Tollywood through content-based scripts with ample commercial elements. He scored hits like 'Hi Nanna' and 'Dasara' last year.
