An Interesting Flashback Of ₹100 Cr Hero Naveen Polishetty

Hero Naveen Polishetty has impressed the audience with Anaganana Oka Raju as the film emerged as the first ever ₹100 crores grosser for him. Back in 2012, when he acted in a small role in Sekhar Kammula’s Life Is Beautiful, he gave various interviews to print media, and some of those vintage Q&A sessions are now going viral.

Back then, Naveen revealed that after completing his engineering from IIT Bhopal in 2006, he undertook training in acting for theatre. Later, he toured India to act in a play based on Chetan Bhagath’s Five Point Someone novel, and then he tried his luck with auditions in Mumbai. He has landed up in gigs in some small projects and also did YouTube before getting shot to fame with Mahesh Babu’s 1-Nenokkadine movie.

Now that he has carved a mark for himself with movies like Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya, Jathiratnalu, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, and now Anaganaga Oka Raju, surely he’s here to stay, and his ₹100 crores victory with the latest movie proves the trust he acquired from Telugu audiences.

On the other side, Telugu audiences prefer to see Naveen more frequently in theatres rather than a single movie in 2-3 years. If he could do a thing like Nani in his prime, coming up with two films a year, surely he will cement his position big time in Tollywood.
