Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his successful movies like Kaithi and Vikram, is currently busy with his LEO starring Vijay. Meanwhile, Nayanthara, who recently appeared alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Atlee's action-packed film Jawan, had signed up for a new project where she was set to be paired with choreographer and actor Lawrence. This movie, produced by renowned Kollywood director Lokesh Kanagaraj, had generated high expectations. However, Nayanthara has made the decision to withdraw from the project and will no longer be a part of it.

Although the exact reasons for the actress's departure from the film remain a mystery, her initial involvement in the film undoubtedly garnered significant attention. Furthermore, the pairing of Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his unique storytelling, with Lawrence, who specializes in mass-oriented films, generated a lot of excitement. However, it's worth noting that their cinematic styles don't align well. Lokesh's films often incorporate mass elements but with a stylish and fresh approach, whereas Lawrence is recognized for his more conventional mass or horror comedy thrillers.

Now, the film will be directed by Ratna Kumar, previously known for working with Amala Paul in Aadai. Following Nayanthara's departure, the search for her replacement is underway.

Lawrence was last seen in Chandramukhi 2 alongside Kangana Ranaut, which received an average response at the box office.
