Prabhas is a hero who is loved by all sets of audiences. His films get a lot of love from older people to young kids. This is why many people were not happy with 'Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire' getting an 'A' certificate. In a recent interview with Rajamouli, Prasanth Neel revealed why the film got 'A' certificate and how he feels about it. He said, "I'm very disappointed because the movie isn't vulgar; it showcases necessary violence. When I conveyed the same to Prabhas, he advised me to go for an A certificate."

'Salaar' is not a film like 'Animal' that deals with adult content and people believed that Prabhas and Prasanth Neel won't make such content. Clarifying that, Prasanth Neel said that the board suggested a lot of cuts. He agreed to most of them despite not liking it but there were a few cuts which might spoil the flow of the film. When Neel asked Prabhas about this, Prabhas immediately replied that he shouldn't compromise and told him to take the 'A' certificate.

If the cuts were allowed, the movie would have gotten a 'U/A' certificate. These days 'A' certificate films are also getting huge collections and 'Animal' stands as the biggest example. It is impossible for theatre staff to verify the age of every person as the footfalls will be huge for this film. If they stop the kids, most of the elders would start arguing with the staff. This is the reason why many theatres are lenient towards allowing kids. Also, Neel stated that there is also necessary violence but not unnecessary romance or vulgarity. Also, Neel mentioned that there are no mass songs or set songs in this film.
