For their presence on India’s Got Latent Season 2, a comedy reality show spearheaded by Samay Rana, both the star heroines, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, got appreciation and criticism too. After shutting down the show for a year or so due to some police cases and controversy, Samay has now restarted the show, this time on Netflix and YouTube as well.

The first episode of this Season 2 has Alia and Sharvari turning up as guests to promote their latest film Alpha, which is hitting cinemas in the first week. After watching the whole show, where Alia and Sharvari have taken a lot of punches and thrown a few, netizens are divided over their behaviour. Some say that Alia is a nepo-kid and can’t take criticism, while Sharvari is an outsider and took everything well. Alia’s fans, however, shot back, saying Sharvari is a CM’s granddaughter, definitely not an outsider but more privileged than Alia Bhatt. Sharvari is former Maharashtra CM Murali Manohar Joshi’s daughter’s daughter and comes from a millionaire family.

Well, it looks like both the heroines have their fair share of advantages and disadvantages too. Though they came from some top influential families, the stardom came only after they took the youth by storm with their glamour and acting prowess only. However, Alia has already seen her stardom and is in her prime now, while Sharvari is just rising. That said, both need a blockbuster with the YRF spyverse Alpha, and need to deliver a superhit for the production house as well, which is going through a purple patch.
