Karthikeya 3! What’s Cooking Actually?

At a time when there were no expectations on Nikhil’s film, newcomer director Chandoo Mondeti came up with the movie “Karthikeya” that has actually stunned the audience. Being science backed fantasy thriller that also deals with religion and spirituality, the film is a blockbuster.

Riding on that fame, later Chandoo Mondeti designed a much better and thrilling movie, Karthikeya 2, which also worked. That naturally raises the question if both Nikhil and Chandoo are contemplating doing another sequel or another film in the “Karthikeya” series or not.

Currently, Nikhil is busy wrapping the film “Swayambhu,” which has already taken more than two years to make. After that, he has to wrap another big-budget film set in the pre-Independent era, India House. At the same time, Chandoo Mondeti is busy carving out a VFX-based, animation movie, in the likes of Mahavatar Narasimha. He needs more time to wrap this project as per the reports coming up.

Only once these two get free of their current workload, they might reunite for another sequel of the Karthikeya series. Inside talk is that already Chandoo has created an idea and basic plotline for Karthikeya 3, and even Nikhil liked it so much that they want to go to the sets as soon as possible.
