Why So Much Buzz Around Nivetha Pethuraj?

When she tried her hand at big Telugu films, none of the biggies came her way. After even doing a glam show in Vishwaksen’s film, which happened to be her last outing before a break, the Dubai-based Tamil siren wanted to marry and quit films. After calling off her engagement, she became the talk of the town again, as some Telugu directors pushed her name big time. Finally, she landed in a Trivikram film for the second time.

What’s so surprising is that there’s a piece of news every day about Nivetha in the Telugu film circles for reasons unknown. First, it’s being said that she will not be doing a small role like in Ala Vaikuntapurramlo now, but will do a second lead. Then came out that she will be seen in an item number in the movie. Then came out that she will be seen throughout the length of the movie. Then it’s said that she is doing a mass avatar in the film opposite Venkatesh, while Srinidhi Shetty is the lead girl of the movie. Many are wondering why so much news is coming out about Nivetha every day, and they are feeling that this is some excessive PR work.

All said and done, in Trivikram’s movies, usually heroines get meaty roles and good songs. Hope Nivetha gets a very good role and gets appreciated for both looks and acting, such that she could get more opportunities here. However, for a heroine who debuted in Tollywood almost a decade ago, she has surprisingly done only 10 films here.
