The film industry however is very happy looking at this as the election dates will not have an effect on the big movie releases that are planned in December.

The election commission has announced the general election dates for Telangana state. The polling will be held on 30th November while the counting of votes will be done on 3rd December. The political atmosphere is heated up with this announcement and the fever will grip the entire state for the next 50 days. The campaigning, political strategies, big meetings, taking potshots at one another and many more will occupy the headlines.

The film industry however is very happy looking at this as the election dates will not have an effect on the big movie releases that are planned in December. Barring Kalyan Ram's 'Devil' which is coming on 23rd November, there is no other notable release during the election period. 'Tillu Square' may not be released in November and the makers will leave the one Friday which is close to the election date. The Telugu version of 'Animal' may have a slight problem as it is coming out on 1st December. But the polling will be done by that time and people can watch the film happily for the first two days while the third day collections may take a beating due to the counting.

The releases on December 7th will be under the new government's rule and there may not be a lot of trouble barring a few adjustments. One needs to see how the new government reacts to special shows for a big film like 'Salaar' which releases on 22nd December. Things will be back to normal by the time of Sankranti. The only notable releases in November are Anand Devereakonda's 'Gam Gam Ganesha', 'Mangalavaram', 'Tiger 3' and others. Movies like 'Adikeshave' and 'Keda Kola' will end their theatrical run by the time of elections in Telangana so there is nothing for the makers to worry about.
