Jr NTR Pauses Dragon Shoot For WAR 2 Promotions

Jr NTR, who is teaming up with KGF and Salaar director Prashanth Neel for a high-octane action drama tentatively titled Dragon, has completed 30 days of shooting for the project. The recently wrapped schedule covered two key sequences — the film’s high-voltage climax and the power-packed introduction scene. These sequences were reportedly mounted on a massive scale, in true Prashanth Neel style, and are expected to be among the biggest highlights of the film.

The production team had initially planned to move straight into the next schedule, but NTR’s packed calendar means the shoot will take a short break. With his commitments to WAR 2 promotions coming up, the actor will return to Dragon only after August 20. The makers are eyeing November or December to wrap up the remaining portions, keeping the momentum high for what’s shaping up to be one of the most anticipated pan-India films of 2025.

Meanwhile, WAR 2, which features Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, is all set for a grand release on August 14. The film is part of YRF’s spy universe and has already created buzz with the release of two chartbuster songs. Both tracks have been widely praised for their slick visuals, high-energy choreography, and fresh chemistry between the lead stars.

Industry insiders believe NTR’s simultaneous presence in a major Bollywood franchise and a massive Telugu action spectacle will push his stardom to new heights, making the second half of 2025 a landmark phase in his career.
