Bollywood Estimates: Rs 450 Cr Weekend For NTR-Hrithik?

It is already known that junior NTR and Bollywood superstar, Hrithik Roshan are coming together for their upcoming film WAR 2. This film is in principal announced for theatrical release on August 14, and the promotional campaign is going to start very soon.

On the topic, Bollywood trade spectators, and ticket counter analysts are projecting a plausible box office trend for this film.

The latest estimates that are being put in front of the media by these leading journalists is that War 2, featuring NTR and Hrithik Roshan is projected to collect ₹450 crore gross in the opening weekend.

A Rs 100 Crore opening looks extremely practical for this film in the domestic Indian market itself. This is going to be aggravated further by the overseas performance of the film, which is going to play a crucial role in the worldwide box office prospect.

Fundamentally speaking, the second part of Pushpa could generate ₹600 crore revenue in the first weekend. Next on the list is the epic Baahubali 2 which had Rs 540 crore weekend. This is followed by RRR at Rs 496 crore.

It would be a great challenge for NTR and Hrithik Roshan to beat the above mentioned numbers that were posted by his historic Indian blockbusters, but this must be the very target.

However, the issue here is that the Telugu audience are not very much accustomed to the futuristic action genre filmmaking that is incorporated for War 2. Such films do not have a wide market in Telugu and that will play a large factor here. But the star image of NTR will come to play and could largely overpower this shortcoming.
