Prashanth Neel Brings ‘Sr Bollywood Heroine’ For Jr NTR

The outstanding success of the KGF franchise and then Salaar has made Prashanth Neel a national name, and his casting choices are also reflecting the same. While he picked up Telugu superstar Jr NTR for the lead role in his upcoming film “Dragon”, he has now brought a senior Bollywood heroine to play a key role.

According to the latest reports, Bollywood’s senior starlet Kajol Devgan will be seen as Jr NTR’s mother in Dragon. Prashanth Neel’s casting trend has been drawing attention for some time. In KGF, he brought back Raveena Tandon in a powerful role that became a talking point of the film as it mimics a veteran Prime Minister of the country. Now, with Kajol likely to join Dragon, the director has once again shown that he is skillfully blending pan-Indian casting with strong character choices.

While details about Kajol’s character and screen time are still under wraps, the talk is strongly doing the rounds everywhere that she will be seen in a powerful flashback in the movie. As the film revolves around the drug mafia that happens in the Assam region, and with Prashanth known for giving strong characters to mothers, we have to see how this NTR-Kajol thing turns up on the screen.

On the other hand, despite multiple shooting delays and changes in plans, Prashanth Neel is crafting Dragon quite effectively that the film’s grand release will happen towards the end of 2026 without any delay.
