The Hollywood film Obsession has become one of the biggest surprises of the year. Made on a relatively small budget, the movie has gone on to collect more than ₹300 crore worldwide and has created a huge discussion among audiences across the globe.

The main reason behind this success is simple. Different people understand the story in different ways. Some see it as a love story, some see it as a psychological thriller, and others see it as a strong social message. This ability to connect with different viewers is what makes Obsession special.

The story itself is very simple.

A young man named Bear secretly loves a girl named Nikki. He has strong feelings for her but never tells her about his love. Nikki, on the other hand, sees Bear only as a brother-like figure and trusts him deeply.

Even though Nikki gives him many chances to express his feelings, Bear never openly tells her that he loves her. Instead, he uses a magical wish pillow and wishes that Nikki should love him more than anyone else in the world.
