Sampath Nandi Promises Visual Thrill With Odela 2!

The Telugu audience have always been very receptive of properly made suspense thrillers that come with the right kind of content. We could be having another addition to this list in the form of Odela 2 which features Tamannaah and is materialised by Sampath Nandi.
As the film prepares for release on April 17, the makers have started to promote it aggressively and there is what Sampath has to say about the film.
Director Sampath Nandi shared that the idea for the sequel sparked during a casual music session with Bheems, despite no initial plans for a second part. The story explores a soul versus supernatural powers battle, featuring a mystic “Nagasadhu” character inspired by Sampath’s grandmother, a real-life Shivashakti figure.
Tamannaah plays this role, embracing a no-makeup look and even going barefoot under the sun to match the authenticity. Her spiritual journey helped her embody the intense character with ease. The film features Hebbah Patel and Vasishta N Simha in key roles, with Hebbah returning in a crucial second-half sequence.
With top-tier VFX by 150 artists and a powerful score by Kantara’s B. Ajaneesh Loknath, Odela 2 offers a cinematic experience on par with Indian superstar films. A third part isn’t planned yet, but Nandi calls this a divine creation led by fate.
