After Sankranti, the Tollywood box office is experiencing a dull moment, with no new releases for the next two weeks. Despite several movies hitting the screens in the first week of February, only Ambajipet Marriage Band managed to create some buzz.

This week, four movies have been released, comprising two original films and two dubbed films. YS Jaganmohan Reddy's biopic, Yatra-2, failed to make a significant impact, seeing a decline in audience interest from the second day onwards. Ravi Teja's movie, Eagle, generated mixed reviews despite high expectations, with moderate collections that may sustain until the weekend but face challenges thereafter.

Superstar Rajinikanth's dubbing film, Lal Salaam, lacked interest and received limited response even on its release day, indicating a lack of positive word-of-mouth.

The dubbed movie, True Lover, released by Baby Makers, also received average reviews and is unlikely to make a lasting impression. Overall, none of the films from this weekend have managed to make a strong impact on the box office, contributing to a generally lackluster atmosphere.

Looking ahead, all eyes are on the upcoming release, Sandeep Kishan 's Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, scheduled for next week. The movie has generated considerable hype, and its release timing appears favorable. The team is confident in the film's success, evident by their decision to hold paid premieres two days before the official release. As the box office currently appears dull, the industry is hopeful that this film will inject much-needed energy and excitement into the cinema landscape.
