The director has also faced a similar situation in the past. His previous Pan-India film, which had a bigger hero, was expected to cross the Rs. 1,000 crore mark worldwide. However, it reportedly ended with collections below Rs. 600 crore. This experience may have made the producers more careful about the current project.

Now, the main goal is reportedly to finish the film, release it successfully and recover as much money as possible. Even a good Pan-India response may not guarantee profits if the investment has become too high.

Meanwhile, an interesting development has reportedly taken place. The director, who was earlier not showing much urgency about one of his sequels, has now started working seriously on it. A team has reportedly been formed and pre-production work has already started.

This has led to speculation that the sequel could become a safer option for the director. With the current film facing budget pressure, returning to a familiar franchise may offer better business security.
