Upcoming actor Pavan Kalyan Battula is making his debut as a hero with the family entertainer Purushaha. The movie is produced by Battula Koteshwar Rao under the Kalyan Productions banner and presented by Battula Saraswathi. The film is directed by Veeru Vulavala and is scheduled to release on May 22. The movie also stars Sapthagiri, Kasireddy Rajkumar, Rayancha Kokkura, Vishika, and Hasini Sudheer in important roles.




 


During a recent media interaction, Pavan Kalyan shared details about his personal life and journey into films. He said he comes from Karampudi near Macherla in Palnadu district and has no film background. His father works in the construction field and always supported his interests. Pavan revealed that his father named him after watching the films of actor Pawan Kalyan and always dreamed of seeing him become a hero.




 


Pavan also explained that he trained in acting under famous acting coach Satyanand in Vizag for four months. He said the training helped him improve his performance and understand acting better.




 


Speaking about Purushaha, Pavan said he selected the film because it is a complete family entertainer. He wanted his debut movie to connect with all kinds of audiences. According to him, the film offers clean entertainment and emotional moments that families can enjoy together.

The young actor praised his co-stars and said senior actors like Sapthagiri and Kasireddy Rajkumar supported him throughout the shoot. He also thanked director Veeru Vulavala for helping him overcome his shy nature and perform confidently in front of the camera.

Pavan compared Purushaha to the classic family entertainer Kshemanga Velli Labhamga Randi and said audiences from all sections would enjoy the film in the same way. He added that every character in the movie has equal importance and the team worked carefully on every scene.

Finally, Pavan thanked his sister Saraswathi for standing by him during the entire journey and said he hopes audiences will support Purushaha after its release.
