Pawan Kalyan Reveals His Gothram and Nakshatram at UBS Event

The pre-release event of Ustaad Bhagat Singh was held in a grand way at Yousufguda Police Grounds in Hyderabad. The film stars Pawan Kalyan in the lead role and is directed by Harish Shankar. The movie is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and is set to release worldwide on March 19 as a special Ugadi treat for fans.
During the event, Pawan Kalyan spoke about his love for cinema and his journey in the film industry. He said cinema has given him everything in life. He also said that the industry helped him earn respect and recognition among people.
Pawan Kalyan said, “Cinema means a lot to me. Cinema gave me food and also gave me the identity to serve people today. I always wish my producers, directors, writers and fans should be happy.” He added that he never thinks too much about box office collections and business numbers. According to him, every film should do well because many people depend on the film industry for their livelihood.
The actor also spoke proudly about the growth of Telugu cinema. He said he does not see films as Tamil cinema or Telugu cinema separately. Instead, he believes in the idea of Indian cinema. He also said it is a proud moment that Telugu cinema has reached the Oscars stage.
Talking about the success of Gabbar Singh, Pawan Kalyan remembered his strong bond with director Harish Shankar. He said that he trusts his directors completely. “Once I believe in a director, I blindly follow what he says on the set. I may not know how the final result will be, but I do what the director asks me to do,” he said.
He also explained how the film was completed despite his busy political life. After becoming the Deputy Chief Minister, he carefully planned his schedule and finished most of his shooting within 40–45 days. He appreciated Harish Shankar for planning the shoot perfectly.
Pawan Kalyan also spoke about controversies and said he often advises Harish Shankar to avoid unnecessary issues. At the same time, he praised the director’s strong attitude and said, “I may take the blows, but my man will not. He will give them back.” Also concluded speech with, “Mine gothram is loving you and my nakshatra is serving you.”
