The Andhra Pradesh and Telangana box office has opened up very well for OG, as the film has entered the list of top three films with the highest opening revenue in Telugu states. So let us have a look at the kind of revenues and market figures set by the other films on the list.
The first-day collections of big-budget movies show how much craze the audience has for star heroes and massive productions.
At the top of the list is RRR, directed by Rajamouli, which collected an unbelievable 74.11 crore share on its opening day. Close behind is Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun, with a huge 70.81 crore share, proving his strong mass following.
In the third spot, OG starring Pawan Kalyan opened with 64.56 crore, showing his unmatched craze among fans. Devara, led by NTR, stood next with 61.65 crore, adding another blockbuster start for him. Salaar, featuring Prabhas, earned 50.49 crore on day one, while his other film Kalki 2898 AD started with 44.86 crore.
Rajamouli’s earlier classic Baahubali 2 still holds a strong position with 43 crore, even years after its release. Hari Hara Veera Mallu made 39.93 crore, and Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, earned 39.52 crore. Finally, Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram grabbed 38.88 crore.
After having tasted failure with his earlier film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, the tremendous comeback of OG must be a huge positive sign for Pawan Kalyan and he must surely be enjoying the same.
