Neha Shetty’s Special Song to Hit Theatres in They Call Him OG from Monday

Songs have always played an important role in Telugu cinema. Earlier, filmmakers sometimes added songs even after a movie’s release to attract more viewers. However, the trend has changed today. Audiences now prefer fast-paced stories, and songs that do not fit the flow of the film are often removed, even if they are expensive.

Pawan Kalyan’s latest film, They Call Him OG, released on Thursday and has received positive reactions from audiences. Directed by Sujeeth, the film features Pawan Kalyan in a strong action role. Alongside him, the cast includes Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj. The music is composed by Thaman S, and the film is produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainments.

Before the film’s release, many fans were expecting a special song featuring Neha Shetty. The song was shot in Bangkok in December 2024, and Neha shared several behind-the-scenes moments on her social media. However, the song was not included in the final cut of the film, which left fans curious.

Music director Thaman explained that the team initially felt the song interrupted the flow of the story, so it was removed. Later, they developed a new approach to include the song without affecting the film’s pace. Thaman confirmed that Neha Shetty’s special song will now be added to theatres starting Monday.

In addition to this, the makers are planning a success meet in Hyderabad on Wednesday to celebrate the film’s performance. With positive word of mouth and the addition of Neha Shetty’s song, They Call Him OG is expected to continue performing well at the box office.
