Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister, Pawan Kalyan has done something remarkable with his latest film OG. This film has set a new all time record for him as an actor, and he is looking into the same.

This film has gone berserk at the Nizam box office and it has set an unprecedented code for Kalyan.

According to reports, the film earned a share of ₹34.5 crore without GST in its opening weekend. If GST is added, the number goes up to ₹40.7 crore. This is a major achievement because it is the first time Pawan Kalyan’s film crossed the 40 crore share mark in Nizam.

The theatrical rights of OG in this region were sold for about ₹55 crore. With the current numbers, the film has already recovered around 74% of its investment in Nizam within just three days. To fully reach the breakeven point in Telangana, OG still needs to collect another ₹15 crore share.

The strong start clearly shows the power of Pawan Kalyan’s craze and the huge audience interest in OG. However, the film’s long-term success depends on how it performs after the weekend.

The makers have also continued ticket price hikes, which helped the initial earnings but may affect collections if audiences feel the prices are too high.

Still, OG achieving a 40+ crore share in Nizam is a milestone in Pawan Kalyan’s career and a big win for the team.
