Blessing In Disguise? OG Ticket Prices Come Down!

It has become increasingly common for superstar oriented. Telugu films to come with elevated ticket prices, and it has reached a point where certain films are in accessible to the common audience.

In this context, there is a constant argument that the ticket prices must be largely regulated and prices must be kept in control. A similar scenario is being observed in the case of OG, which had largely elevated ticket price in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

However, the latest developments are suggesting that the film could go for a decline in ticket price in Telangana.

Last night, Telangana government communicated to the makers that they must bring down the elevated ticket prices effective immediately. na that the order has been issued to reduce the prices, we can expect the ticket hikes to be cancelled immediately.

This would essentially mean that the ticket prices which were positioned in the range of ₹450 will come down to the standard prices of ₹295. This is going to be a blessing in disguise for the film in the large scheme of things.

It must be noted that the elevated ticket prices had resulted in the common audience and family folk staying away from the theatres. But now that the ticket prices are going to come down marginally, we can expect the film to be benefited from the same.

This could pretty much be a blessing in disguise as a chunk of the common audience could step out to watch the film in theatres and directly contribute to the overall revenues.
