Bro Is Political Movie,What About Lakshmi's NTR And Others?

Pawan Kalyan's recent outing 'Bro' increased the political heat in Andhra Pradesh. Members of YSRCP and Pawan Kalyan's Janasena are locking horns over the film and targeting each other. Special debates are held in various news channels. Very rarely do we see leaders of two different parties fighting each other over a film and we saw this with Bro.

The row over Bro started with the Shyam Babu character which was played by Prithvi. Many say that the character was designed to target Minister Ambati Rambabu. This grabbed everyone's attention and became a big topic of discussion.

Ambati Rambabu who never misses an opportunity to attack Pawan Kalyan had responded to this and made some harsh comments. He said that he would make a film on Pawan Kalyan and mentioned his personal life as we see from the YCP leaders regularly. Janasena leaders hit back at him and said that they will make a complete film on Rambabu.

Ambati Rambabu openly gave a warning to scriptwriters to be very careful while writing such characters. He took the name of Trivikram Srinivas and said that such mistakes would cost high time.

The Cabinet Minister's comments and warnings shed light on the other political films that are made in favour of YSRCP. The trend started with Lakshmi's NTR. Ram Gopal Varma helmed the film and showed Chandrababu Naidu's character in a dark shade. However, the film drew some criticism from various corners.

Senior journalist Imandi Ramarao asked how RGV can ignore Nadendla Bhaskara Rao's episode while making a film on NTR's political journey.

After the election result, RGV made Amma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Biddalu and Power Star films. If we compare Bro movie with these films, there is no match. The films are satirical in nature which are aimed at the opponents.

Highlighting what Ambati Rambabu said, many ask who would talk about these political films. Moreover, the films projected the characters in the films in a satirical manner. If Ambati had issues with Bro, then he should have also talked about these films. But he never talked about the films.

Making such films is not new in the industry. When NTR was the CM, Superstar Krishna made a few films against him. Before entering politics, NTR made a few films that paved the way for his political path.
