Already Ram Charan’s latest film Peddi, which is hitting cinemas grandly on June 4th, 2026, is raking up huge buzz at the box office. Especially with the pre-sales of the movie activated in the USA, already the film has sold many tickets, accounting to $300K collection from the premiere shows alone. At this juncture, it looks like opening with a strong $1-2 million collection on Day 1 is not a daunting task for the film. Now, let’s have a look at what the breakeven target is for Peddi in the USA market.
As per the reports, in the USA, Peddi should collect around ₹30 crores from the Box Office, such that it would be a breakeven project for the distributors. If we look at the previous collections of Ram Charan himself, his RRR collected $15 million at the USA box office, being an SS Rajamouli film.
If we look at other hits like Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad, the film collected $3.2 millions in its lifetime. However, even with a mixed talk, Devara collected $6 million from the USA. So to achieve around ₹30 crores in hand, the film should collect nearly $4-5 million from the USA box office, to become a safe film for the overseas investors.
In fact, for the kind of craze that Peddi is enjoying right now, surely this target is not big. It can be easily achievable, but then, it’s not small. Surely the stardom of Ram Charan should facilitate making such a huge collection for Peddi.
