Peddi Commits Two Mistakes In Second Week

MegaPowerstar Ram Charan’s latest outing, Buchi Babu Sana directorial “Peddi”, has silently crossed the ₹400 crores gross mark at the box office. The film has gone through its share of applause, criticism, and attention, and finally made a landmark collection. However, at a time when certain areas are heading towards massive losses, the makers have made a gross mistake- not one but two, as that’s going to affect the collections in some way or the other.

The first mistake made by the team of Peddi, after 11 days of the film’s release, is nothing but releasing the video songs from the film. They have released video songs of superhit Chikri and Hellallallo at a time when the film is still bringing footfalls to theatres. While the glamour treat of Janhvi Kapoor and Shruti Haasan is a major treat in those songs, leaving them without release would have attracted some more crowds to come to theatres. Now Peddi is missing that major advantage for sure.

When it comes to the second mistake, the team of Peddi has created a buzz that new scenes will be added to the film very soon, and lots of scenes are also popularised. As Buchi Babu himself revealed that there are a couple of other scenes of Janhvi that are cut out from the film, many thought he’s adding them too. However, nothing was added so far, and there’s no official communication about the addition of those scenes. That’s disappointing for a section of the audience who wanted to visit the film in theatres again.

On the flip side, as new releases like Samantha’s Maa Inti Bangaram, Vadde Naveen’s Transfer Trimurthulu and other films are hitting cinemas this Friday, Peddi is up for a massive competition now.
