Ram Charan’s latest film Peddi has achieved a remarkable milestone even before its full box office run begins. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the sports drama has recorded the highest-ever premiere collections for a Telugu film in Karnataka. The movie collected an impressive ₹3.02 crore from premiere shows, creating a new all-time record in the state.

With this achievement, Peddi has surpassed several highly anticipated Telugu films that previously dominated the Karnataka premiere market. The latest rankings now place Peddi at the top of the list, followed by OG with ₹2.72 crore, The Rajasaab with ₹2.61 crore, Pushpa 2 with ₹2.55 crore, and Hari Hara Veera Mallu with ₹1.47 crore.

The strong premiere performance shows the massive craze surrounding Ram Charan and the film. Fans across Karnataka showed tremendous enthusiasm, leading to packed theatres and strong advance bookings. The movie benefited from excellent pre-release buzz, powerful promotional content, and positive reactions from fans after the paid premieres.

According to trade reports, Peddi also registered outstanding advance bookings across India. The Telugu version alone collected around ₹19.57 crore through advance ticket sales before release. More than 7.6 lakh tickets were reportedly sold, showing the huge anticipation among movie lovers.

The film opened strongly on its first day as well. Early estimates suggested that it had already earned over ₹5 crore net in India during the initial hours of release. Industry experts expect the collections to grow further as the day progresses and weekend bookings continue.

A major reason behind the excitement is Ram Charan’s performance. Many viewers who watched the premiere shows praised his acting and screen presence. Several fans have even described his role in Peddi as one of the best performances of his career.

Apart from Ram Charan, the movie features a talented cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Boman Irani, Divyendu and Jagapathi Babu in important roles.
