Mega Power Star Ram Charan is currently busy with his upcoming pan-India movie Peddi. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film has already created huge expectations among fans across India. But now, more than the movie itself, an emotional story shared by the director is touching everyone’s hearts.
During a recent interview, Buchi Babu revealed the close bond that developed between his family and Ram Charan during the shooting of Peddi. The director emotionally said that Ram Charan used to take his daughter to their house almost every day. There, Ram Charan’s daughter Klin Kaara Konidela would happily play with the director’s daughter for hours.
Buchi Babu also praised Upasana Konidela for her caring nature. He shared that Upasana garu personally used to send his daughter back home safely after their playtime. According to him, the bond between both families became very emotional because of the film.
The director said that during the shooting, they did not realize how attached they had become. But after the schedule ended, Ram Charan still continued calling every day to ask about the little girl’s health and well-being. Buchi Babu said those calls now make him feel emotional and remind him how much he misses those beautiful moments during the shoot.
Meanwhile, Peddi is also making headlines because of its massive buzz in North India. The rustic sports drama is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings, and Vriddhi Cinemas. Recently, rumors spread that the movie’s budget had gone beyond control. However, Buchi Babu strongly denied those reports.
The director clarified that everything is happening according to proper planning and the budget is completely under control. He also expressed confidence that the rural emotions and sports backdrop will strongly connect with Hindi audiences. With Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead, the makers believe Peddi will receive strong support in the North market as well.
