After locking the release date of March 27, which is directly crashing a week after Dhurandhar and Toxic release on March 19, the makers of Ram Charan’s Peddi have postponed the film. But now fresh rumours are being heard that this Buchi Babu Sanana directorial will not make it to theatres as scheduled. How much of that is true?
Rumours are circulating that Ram Charan's upcoming film Peddi, scheduled to release in cinemas on April 30, may not be released as planned. However, there’s no truth to this as per the production house. Currently, the shooting of Peddi is happening in Hyderabad at a brisk pace, and the film might not even miss the release date by an inch.
In the last couple of days, the unexpected rains have disrupted the shoot, and also the cloudy Hyderabad sky has led to the cancellation of the shoot due to a lack of proper light. Otherwise, the film is very much on track, with only 10% of the pending work left. Already, A R Rahman has scored BGM for the first half and the second half for work in progress.
Featuring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and Jagpathi Babu in the crucial role of Appalasoori, Peddi is expected to strike a chord at the box office with a bang.
