Pilla Zamindar Sequel In Discussions

The trend of sequels is gaining momentum across various film industries, and Tollywood is no exception. Following this pattern, there is speculation that Nani might be starring in a sequel to his hit movie Pilla Zamindar.

The original film's producer, DS Rao, has officially announced that a sequel is in the works. Directed by G Ashok, Pilla Zamindar was released 13 years ago and garnered praise for Nani's stellar performance and its story, screenplay, and comedy.

DS Rao revealed that G Ashok, who highlighted the importance of education while delivering comedy in the first film, is currently working on the sequel's script.

G Ashok, who later scored a hit with Bhagamati starring Anushka Shetty, has gained more recognition, especially after the movie was remade in Hindi. It remains to be seen if Ashok, busy with Hindi projects, will helm the sequel to Pilla Zamindar.

The producer confirming that discussions for the sequel are underway has sparked excitement among Nani's fans. While Nani is almost certain to reprise his role, there is still some uncertainty about whether Ashok will direct this follow-up.
