Chilling horror drama 'Pindam' which is all set to arrive on 15th December has been given an 'A' certificate by the censor board. Starring Sriram, Kushee Ravi in key roles, this film marks the directorial debut of Saikiran Daida. Produced by Yeshwanth Daggumati under Kalaahi Media, the teaser, trailer and other promotional material created a very good buzz over the movie.


What's interesting is the fact that the makers were asked to cut a few parts despite the board giving 'A' certificate. It shows the level of horror that the audience are going to be in for. The makers have released a strict disclaimer stating that 'Pindam' is strictly not advisable for pregnant women. The revelation has contributed to the curiosity around the film. As per the team, this film is based on true incidents which took place in Nalgonda. The movie is about a middle-class family trapped in a house possessed by spirits.

Ravi Varma plays another crucial role. Saikiran Daida, Kavi Siddartha wrote the story while Satish Manoharan is the cinematographer. Manik Reddy, Baby Chaitra, Baby Ieisha, Vijayalakshmi, Srilatha & others are also part of the cast. Krishna Saurabh Surampalli is the music composer while Sirish Prasad is the editor. Srinivas Avasarala and Eswari Rao essay other pivotal roles in 'Pindam'.

The director has stated that 'Pindam' is a full-fledged horror drama without any forced cinematic liberties. The film unfolds across multiple timelines - 1930s, 1990s and the present-day scenario. Let us wait and see how the film turns out to be.
