Here Is Mumbai Police Crack Down on Saif Ali Khan Attack Case

Mumbai Police arrested Shariful Islam Shehzad who is a Bangladeshi national, for attacking actor Saif Ali Khan during a burglary attempt. Shehzad was living in India under the false name of Vijay Das. He was caught on Sunday in Thane, Maharashtra.
The police formed 30 teams to investigate the case. They began by examining CCTV footage from Saif Ali Khan's residence in Bandra. The footage showed the suspect leaving the building after the attack.
Police reviewed hours of CCTV footage across the city. They identified the suspect in DN Nagar, Andheri. The police tracked him using the bike’s registration number.
Intelligence reports led the police to Koliwada, Worli. They found that Shehzad was living in a rented accommodation with three others. The police questioned the residents and gathered important details.
Using Shehzad’s phone location, the police tracked him to a secluded area in Thane. He was arrested after police surrounded him.
Shehzad who is 30 years old had entered India illegally. He had been using the name Vijay Das and worked in a housekeeping agency. He had been in Mumbai for 5–6 months.
During questioning, Shehzad revealed that he didn’t know the house belonged to Saif Ali Khan. He said he entered the building through the rear staircase and air-conditioning ducts.
Mumbai Police confirmed that Shehzad is a Bangladeshi national. He does not have valid Indian documents. The police are continuing their investigation.
Saif Ali Khan who suffered six stab wounds, is recovering in Lilavati Hospital. Police plan to recreate the crime scene to gather more evidence.
