Pooja Hegde @ Coolie: Bad Placement, Poor Vision!
However, the visual and video aspect of this song largely backfired in the film as Pooja could not generate any kind of traction from the same.;
When it was first announced that actress, Pooja Hegde would be playing a glamour doll in Rajinikanth and Director Lokesh Kanagarajs Coolie, a lot was expected. In tune, with this, the Monica song from the album was a big success.
However, the visual and video aspect of this song largely backfired in the film as Pooja could not generate any kind of traction from the same.
Ironically, Pooja just comes on the screen seconds before this out of this song, and almost instantly disappears from the same. There is absolutely no additional footage for Pooja, apart from this and the placement is also very much out of the box.
Director Lokesh was expected to conceive this song and execute it with perfection, but that is not even remotely the case as he brutally messed up the entire situation. This song comes at an odd juncture in the film, and it has no value in the series of the proceedings.
It appears that the bad luck for Pooja Hegde and her wait for commercial success at the box office will continue for a longer period of time. She simply cannot strike gold at the South Indian film industry, and she must be super disappointed with the kind of prominence that she got in Coolie.
This film is anyway a mediocre product and it needs to be seen if Pooja would be able to gain any sort of momentum from the same.
