Pooja Hegde Officially Onboards Vijay's Last Film

Thalapathy Vijay, who recently starred in The Greatest Of All Time (also known as The GOAT), is preparing for his next movie, tentatively titled Thalapathy 69. It is known fact that Bollywood actor Bobby Deol has been cast in a significant role for the film. Additionally, actress Pooja Hegde is expected to play the female lead, marking her second collaboration with Vijay after their 2022 film, Beast.

The production team has scheduled a formal ceremony for October 4, 2024, with filming expected to start the next day. Excitement for the movie is growing, especially after the filmmakers teased fans with a social media post asking them to guess the cast. The official cast announcement is planned over three days, starting on October 1, 2024.

Vijay, on the other hand, recently played dual roles in The GOAT, where he portrayed a father and son caught in a dangerous battle of wits. The film follows an anti-terrorist leader who loses his son during a mission in Thailand, only for the son to later reappear with sinister intentions. The complex storyline and Vijay’s dual roles were widely praised. The GOAT, released in September 2024, is scheduled to begin streaming on Netflix from October 3.
