Pooja Hegde’s Telugu Story Gets Release Date

It’s been almost 3-4 years since dusky siren Pooja Hegde, who was once considered to be the No.1 heroine of Tollywood, has been missing in action here. After being replaced in films like Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Guntur Kaaram, Pooja hasn’t signed any other Telugu film, and now coming up with Dulquer Salmaan’s Sri Sri movie. Quite unexpectedly, producer Sudhakar Cherukuri has carved out a film with Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Hegde in the leads. The film titled Sri Sri is directed by newcomer Ravi Nelakuditi and is a breezy romantic love story, which the producer wants to position as a pan-India romance. The film is now hitting cinemas on December 4th, in the cool winter, for breezy entertainment.

After a years-long gap, Pooja Hegde is finally hitting Telugu cinemas and might turn up in Hyderabad to promote the movie big time. In recent times, many of her South films, including a couple of Tamil films like Retro and Jana Nayagan, also flopped at the box office. So the heroine would be expecting to score brownie points with this movie to make the most.
