Financial Struggles Put Pooja Hegde's Big Bollywood Movie on Hold?

Pooja Hegde, known for her glamorous roles in the South Indian film industry, seems to be facing hurdles in her Bollywood journey. Her much-anticipated film 'Sanki', opposite Suniel Shetty's son Ahan Shetty, has hit a major roadblock.

According to industry insiders, the film's producer Sajid Nadiadwala is contemplating shelving the project due to escalating costs. Ahan's extravagant demands, including a hefty entourage for hair, makeup, and styling, have reportedly burdened the production with unnecessary expenses. The already challenging market for satellite and digital rights, with lower-than-expected returns, has further aggravated the situation. Despite a bulk deal with Amazon Prime Video, the financial outlook remains bleak.

Sajid, known for his prudent approach, has halted pre-production activities and suspended funding for 'Sanki'. However, Suniel Shetty has intervened, urging Sajid to reconsider and even offering financial support.

While the fate of 'Sanki' hangs in the balance, Pooja Hegde has wrapped up shooting for Shahid Kapoor's 'Deva', which is currently in post-production.

It remains to be seen if 'Sanki' will eventually see the light of day or if Pooja Hegde will have to explore other opportunities to solidify her position in Bollywood.
