Pooja Hegde made an entry into Tollywood with the 2014 film Oka Laila Kosam. In the same year, she also acted in Mukunda. Both films ended up as failures at the box office. Pooja had to wait for three years to get her big breakthrough in Telugu. With the 2017 film DJ, Pooja rose to stardom. Since then, there has been no looking back for her.

In a short span of time, Pooja acted in various hit films like Aravinda Sametha, Maharshi, Gaddalakonda Ganesh, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Most Eligible Bachelor. Pooja also amassed a huge fan following on social media. Apart from films, her photoshoots also helped her in gaining a massive following on social media platforms.
