‘Why Tollywood Delegation Didn’t Take Women To Meet Revanth’
Poonam question the film industry so as to why they did not find it adequate enough to invite any woman to meet the chief minister.
It is not that a high profile meeting between the Tollywood delegation and the chief minister of Telangana Revanth Reddy, along with a couple of his cabinet minister happened in Hyderabad last morning. This was a largely fruitful meeting as stated by the film industry.
However, there is one actress who is maintaining a decent tone on this topic, as she doesn’t appear to be pleased with what is happening with the film industry and the meeting with the chief minister.
The actress is none other than controversial personality, Poonam Kaur. With her latest tweet pertaining to the meeting between the Tollywood, delegation and the government, she took a jibe at the film industry for not inviting any moment to the meeting.
“No women was considered important enough to be taken for a meeting with CM , women have absolutely no issues , industry stands up when a hero has a issue or trade matters , no women has issue - none can have one” Poonam Kaur tweeted indirectly on the meeting.
Poonam question the film industry so as to why they did not find it adequate enough to invite any woman to meet the chief minister. She questioned if they think that every woman in the industry is happy enough, and doesn’t have a problem that is to be conveyed on the big stage.
Poonam question the reason why the film industry always stands up when a hero or trade matters are in trouble, but no one bat an eye when a female artist needs it. This tweet is now going viral on social media and understandably so
