Genelia Deshmukh was a popular actress in both Bollywood and Tollywood. She worked with many Telugu actors before taking a break from South Indian films after her marriage.

Now, Genelia is making a comeback in Aamir Khan's upcoming movie, "Sitaare Zameen Par." Aamir and Genelia previously worked together 16 years ago when he produced the film "Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa," in which she starred alongside his nephew, Imran Khan, as her love interest. In this new film, Genelia will once again share the screen with Aamir and will play his love interest.

According to sources, Aamir chose Genelia for the role after careful consideration. He believes that she is a perfect fit for the character of a strong, independent woman. In the movie, Genelia's character will be on a journey with the protagonist, helping to train a team of specially-abled individuals.

Aamir himself confirmed his return to Bollywood with "Sitaare Zameen Par" during an interview. He mentioned that the film will take a different approach compared to his previous movie, "Taare Zameen Par," which made people cry. This time, the film will make the audience laugh, and it will involve nine people with their own unique challenges helping Aamir's character.

"Sitaare Zameen Par" is Aamir Khan's comeback to the big screen after "Laal Singh Chaddha," released in 2022. Genelia Deshmukh, on the other hand, was recently seen in the Marathi remake of "Majili" titled "Ved," where she portrayed Samantha's character, while her husband, Ritesh, played the role of Naga Chaitanya.
