Two Films Pressurising Kalki 2 To Go On Hold?

Among the current generation superstars, Prabhas is the one who not only enjoys true pan-India level stardom, but also does back-to-back movies unlike others. He now has the likes of Fauzi and Spirit lined up for release, Kalki 2 and Salaar 2 in production-level planning. However, with the project release dates inching in, it looks like some projects are feeling the pressure.

In fact, Prabhas’ Fauzi was supposed to release early this year, but it got shifted to the December 1st week release as the shooting is still pending. And the film that was supposed to hit cinemas in December got pushed to March 2027, which happens to be Sandeep Vanga’s Spirit. However, Prabhas is giving his full time and attention to Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauzi as they have already announced the release date also. And if he finds time, he is giving that time to the makers of Spirit. But this planning is now affecting the plans of Spirit.

With the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan already giving dates for Kalki 2 from September, the director of the film, Nag Ashwin, thought that they would go for shooting as planned. However, it’s coming out that Prabhas is not able to give dates for the movie in September as he has some balance work of Fauzi to be wrapped. Due to that, Kalki's plans are put on hold, say reports.

On the other hand, after wrapping Fauzi, Prabhas has to focus extensively on Spirit also, as that film is immediately in the release pipeline. That means these two projects are literally pressurising Kalki 2 to go on hold as Prabhas is not yet free!
