Prabhas is the country’s biggest pan-Indian star and he seems to have put several top legends of Indian cinema on hold. His busy schedule is reportedly delaying multiple big-budget projects.

The shoot of Raja Saab is taking longer than expected, which has pushed back the timelines for Fauji and Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Both teams are said to be waiting for Prabhas to wrap up his current commitments before moving forward.

Meanwhile, Nag Ashwin, who delivered the massive hit Kalki 2898 AD, is ready with the script and pre-production work for the sequel.

The film, which also features stalwarts like Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan, is now on pause due to Prabhas’s packed calendar. Adding to the delay, the makers are yet to finalise the leading lady after Deepika Padukone’s exit.

Industry circles say this situation highlights Prabhas’s immense influence his schedule can decide the fate of several big-ticket films.

While this underlines his market power, it also creates challenges for filmmakers and co-stars waiting in line. With every project carrying sky-high expectations, all eyes are now on Prabhas to clear his slate and get these mega ventures rolling.

While this happens to be one of the better anticipated projects in Indian cinema, the fact that it is taking too long in the production stage is due to the unavailability of Prabhas.
