Mixed Opinions On Fauzi’s Postponement To December

Superstar Prabhas has decided to deliver two films a year, and already half of the 2026 quota was met by “Raja Saab” earlier in January. Now, the onus is on the next film, which happens to be “Fauzi” directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. This film has been in the making for a long time, and initially it was set for a Dasara release. Without attending shoots of other films like Spirit or Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas has now dedicated himself full-time to Fauzi only, but here’s the twist.

Apparently, Fauzi will not be able to make it to the Dasara season due to pending Visual Effects and other post-production processes. For that same reason, the makers have thought that December first week would be an ideal release, like how the films like Animal, Pushpa 2 and Dhurandhar 1 in the recent times have come around that time and clicked. However, as Ramayana 1 is scheduled for November 2026 release, and in the third week of December, there’s the release of Dune 3, some feel that these movies might affect the chances of “Fauzi” at the box office. However, trade experts have written that off.

They say that if Fauzi is arriving in December, surely that would be a proper commercial treat for fans, and neither Ramayana nor Dune 3 falls in the same groove, so they are not even in the league of Prabhas starrer. At the same time, Fauzi hasn’t come up with any updates till date, and if the shooting is going at a brisk pace, surely that itself is good news for fans.
